Pier Group Task Forces

The BIG PICTURE of what the Pier Group is trying to accomplish is wide, diverse and quite intimidating. Against that, our membership is multi-talented, highly motivated and greatly experienced. Our membership is our greatest resource, but not boundless. In order to respect its time limitations and life’s other commitments, we reasoned that the most effective way to tackle the challenges ahead of us were to break the work down into smaller chunks and identify them in such a way that members could attach to one or more tasks that really appealed to them while keeping up to date on the others through our minutes, website, Facebook, The Pier Guardian and other mediums.

To do all this we have created specialized active teams to take on these tasks:

Legal & Technical – Chris Wallace, Chair

Illustration – Phil Goldsmith, Chair

Community Action – Larry Rooney, Chair

Vision/Impressario – Jackie Tinson & Phil Goldsmith, Co-Chairs
